Navidad - Natale - Xmas

Is my second Xmas in Italy, the second one without my family and the 3rd Xmas with Manu, and the first one in my own house!!!

It s a mix of feelings, most of them are very nice. Besides of not having my sweet girls with me (mother and sister), everything was just great!! Manu always cares about me and how do I feel, knowing that these times I am very sensitive because I miss my family, however he is always closed to me, we talk and we see the positive things in our lives.

We had many dinners at home, outside, Manu's parents. So 3-4 KG more!! Anyway is Navidad and the desire of chocolates are inside me :-)

Besides of presents and dinners. This Xmas was very special because it was the 1st Xmas in our own house, I mean.. trying to prepare and decorate house as we wanted, making all by ourselves... these things made me feel more in the mood of: Step by step we are creating our own family.. our life...our special moments... it made me feel closer to Manu and to be happy for what I have chosen for my life..

Merry Xmas to all my friends around the world!!!!!!!!!!!!

Que Viva Quito!!!!!

Yesterday was a holiday in my city, the capital of Ecuador : QUITO!!!!

Every year at the end of November Quito starts to get in FIESTA MOOD, more than other months :-) We dance on the streets, we go outside of Plaza de Toros just to see poeple around, we play a card game "CUARENTA". It's just great!!!

AGAIN... QUE VIVA QUITO!!!!!

September - October - November

I know I said I will update my blog but... no excuses!!!

Any way, September was a great month, warm..sunny... sunny!!! I love summer!!!

The most important thing of September was our trip to Madrid for my birthday!!!

M A D R I D: a very nice city with a lot of nightlife and very nice museums and places to visit. I found it very interesting because I could see so many details that we still have in Ecuador - Quito from he spanigh culture, the churches structure, the Corrida de Toros, etc. We had very good time there visiting museums (EL Prado, Museo Reina SOfia, Palacio Real) and also walking in the center at night, having dinner outside, etc.

Here some pictures to share

October was supposed to be cold, at least starting to be cold, but we had great weat
her!! October was a calm month but at the same time full of things to do: I had to start the driving license lessons (I drive, but I need italian drivin license), so I started to study and study, I thought it will be easy, but it is very stupid system (I thought at the beginning) but at the end it was good to study all the signs and rules, etc. I took like 2 weeks of holidays for this stupid lessons and quizes.. afdhsjdha awful!! Anyway I had to do it!!!

Then on November I was supposed to go to China but at the end we did not go with my boss, because of some issues in the company. But we went to Germany!! It was nice to see german landscapes again!!! We went to MEDICA - Dusseldorf, it is a big exhibition for all related to medical things. It was very interesting and had a lot of good time.

November has ended and December to come.... Xmas!!!!

A presto!
